Ngwenya - Zulu name for the fearless Nile crocodile found in the waters throughout the African continent.
The spirit of Ngwenya Canoe Club is encompassed in the fearless pursuits of enjoyment of our sport on land and in water while showing no fear in the preservation of life. We engender a culture of camaraderie with fellow sportsmen and woman in all walks of life and abilities.
AS much as we are sport orientated we believe in harmonious sharing of rivers with crocodiles, game, fish, bird life and fellow paddlers.
